New enStratus Release Includes Major User Interface, Architectural and Support Enhancements

enStratus is excited to announce the availability of the latest release of our leading cloud management solution. This new release is based on the feedback from enStratus clients and industry leaders to improve the efficiencies of IT professionals managing enterprise applications in the cloud.

The enhancements include expanded support and alert capabilities, improved user interface, and additional machine image features.

Enhanced Support and Alerts

• A new alert system with fewer, better targeted alerts
• Alerts flagged at bottom of screen with a pop-up for details
• Alerts can be deleted on a user-by-user basis
• Single sign-on with this support portal
• Ability to file support tickets from any screen in enStratus
• Easier account setup and profile management screens with context-sensitive help
• Tracking of performance across your entire account as well as across clouds

User Interface Improvements

• Sortable columns
• Improved access to server analytics when AWS CloudWatch is enabled
• Pop-up to check on pending jobs with animation while jobs are in progress
• More details in the display of snapshots
• Firewall reporting with simplified security auditing and compliance
• Color-coded server labels to improve tracking
• Ability to detach and tail console logs and agent logs
• Ability to copy cluster configurations

Expanded Machine Image Capabilities

• Pre-packaged machine images in AWS for Ubuntu, CentOS, Windows, and OpenSolaris
• Support for AWS AMI and snapshot sharing between enStratus accounts
• Search the full library of AWS AMIs and launch a server from one of those AMIs
