Pricing

Monthly metered pricing allows you to only pay for what you use

enStratus is a metered service - you pay only for what you use. There is no minimum monthly fee.
Fees are calculated on a per server basis and vary depending on the richness of the function selected. Pricing does not increase for larger instances and is consistent across clouds.

Meter Rates:

  • $0.01/server hour - Monitor - basic monitoring, alerting, heartbeat pinging, basic meta-data. This is the level at which enStratus automatically sets instances auto-discovered on account set-up.

  • $0.05/server hour - Manage - includes the 'Monitor' services described above, plus advanced user management (roles/permissions/shell/rdp access), advanced analytics and logging, host-based intrusion detection, and a powerful UI for effective and easy management of underlying cloud resources. This is typically the correct level for development and QA machines.

  • $0.20/server hour - Cluster - includes the 'Manage' services described above, plus automated management of backups, auto-scaling, and auto-recovery. This level is ideal for production environments and applications requiring high availability.

Pricing Example- For a solution requiring a production environment (2 web servers, 2 database servers and 1 load balancer) and an identical development environment, the pricing would be:

- $0.82/CPU-hour or ~$590/month for the production environment - as the cluster rates would apply (machines used as load balancers are charged at a $0.02 rate)

- $0.25/CPU-hour or ~$180/month for the development environment - as the manage rates would apply.
