Our Solution

Cloud Reliability

Reliability

The Business Perspective

Reliability is a top priority for web applications. Our intelligent auto-recovery engine and cross data center support delivers up to six nines of availability

Reliable Operations in the Cloud

enStratus focuses on the deployment of operational production systems in to cloud infrastructure rather than the "test and dev" use case. We typically work with our customers to address questions like:

  • "How fast can I recover an application in the cloud?"

  • "How should I set the rules for scaling my infrastructure up ... and down?"

  • "What happens if there is a failure in the cloud?"

enStratus answers these challenges through the use of sophisticated clustering, automation and native understanding of underlying cloud topologies.

Autoscaling - enStratus scales your infrastructure as your demand grows. Set the minimum and maximum number of servers and let enStratus do the rest.

Automated Recovery- Automated recovery from server failures within the cluster.

Automated Backups - enStratus allows you to set the backup frequency for your application -- from every day all the way down to every 10 minutes.

Smart Cloud Topology - Automatically spread cloud infrastructure across availability zones or cloud providers to miimize latency and reduce risk.

Reliability

The Technical Perspective

Your IT policies and procedures can be extended to the cloud with enStratus. Define and deploy security levels, automated backups, ‘self-healing’ recovery system, auto-scaling and auto-recovery.

Proactive Monitoring and Automated Recovery

The enStratus solution provides the highest level of reliability for cloud applications. enStratus includes the ability to deliver clustering solutions for a group of servers that enStratus manages entirely through automation based on the configuration information you provide.

Autoscaling

In a clustered environment, enStratus can automatically scale your infrastructure as demand grows. Set the minimum and maximum number of servers and the parameters which govern scaling. For example, the number of e-commerce transactions or CPU load, and let enStratus handle the rest.

Automated Recovery

In a clustered environment, enStratus constantly monitors your cloud infrastructure. If an instance terminates, enStratus will automatically recover from the loss by starting a replacement instance and return your application to full strength. In a recovery event, enStratus restores the data state from the most recently created backup automatically.

Automated Backups

In a clustered environment, enStratus executes automated snapshots on a user-defined schedule. These backups can be optionally encrypted for maximum security.

Smart Cloud Topology

enStratus can automatically distribute your infrastructure across availability zones and even execute backups into other clouds to assist in business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
